Create a Scenario

To create a scenario, switch to Scenarios in the left main navigation and click on Add Scenario….

Enter the name of the new scenario. By default, Tramola will create an empty scenario for you in which you can upload your scenario files. Alternatively, you can also select one of the offered template scenarios to quickly start with an existing scenario.

If you decide to create an empty scenario, specify the coordinate reference system (CRS) your scenario will use. You can easily search for EPSG-codes or even for CRS names (e.g. Gauss for a set of coordinate systems based on the Gauss-Krüger coordinate system, or LV95+ which is the name of a common CRS used in Switzerland). If you selected a template, the CRS should be automatically set.

Click on Create Scenario to create the scenario. If you selected a template, the creation might take a short moment in which all the necessary files from the template get downloaded to your scenario.
